The aim of this course is to allow learners the opportunity to work in the graphic pre-press sector, to acquire and apply competencies required for safe, effective work practices at AQF level IV.

This course has been designed to expand the development of the complex technical skills and knowledge and to further build upon the skills and knowledge developed in Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-press).

Students will learn to undertake complex designing briefings and design concepts, work with complex images and colours and undertake the application of quality assurance techniques.

Entry Requirements

Domestic Students
Pre-requisites for entry into this course are:

  • Students must be over 18 years of age,
  • Students must have completed Year 12 or the interstate equivalent
  • Completed Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-press) ICP30205

International Students
Pre-requisites for entry into this course are:

  • Students must be over 18 years of age,
  • Students must have completed an overseas equivalent of Year 12
  • Students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or above and must provide documentation to that effect.
  • Completed Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-press) ICP30205
