Persons under the age of 21 years are now able to be employed as hairdressers in NSW if they have completed and hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing (WRH30106) and are no longer required to complete an apprenticeship.

People aged 21 or over when they complete the Certificate III in Hairdressing (WRH30106) may work in hairdressing but are subject to the conditions of the hairdressing award.
